UNSW Psychology, 8 March 2020
International Women’s Day exists to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women around the world, and dates back to the first meeting in 1911. Beyond celebration, however, the day is also call to action. It presents an opportunity to build a better, more balanced world in which everyone has an equal opportunity to participate fully in society. Each year the International Women’s Day celebrations have a different theme: in 2020 the focus is on #EachForEqual. There are amazing events happening at UNSW and we encourage everyone to take part!
